10 Dragon Con parties you should absolutely know about

We are just two days away from kicking off one of the biggest events in the city. There will be so much going on this weekend – panels, workshops, events and of course, parties. As long as you’ve got tickets to Dragon Con, you can get in and party the night away (unless otherwise noted). I’ve rounded up a few parties going on throughout Dragon Con, so share this story with your friends and plan accordingly! If you still need your Dragon Con 2022 passes, grab them here.

4th Annual MSFM Onesie Party

Join Karen Henson as she moderates a mixer for all fans to meet and break the ice! You can head to the DE room at the Westin and get to know Dragon Con attendees in your favorite onesie, costume, or comfy-casual gear. There will be lots of fun and games for you to enjoy.

Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Homecoming Celebration

Be a part of the welcoming party for Sherrilyn Kenyon and other bestselling authors at the Westin in Savannah Ballroom B. There will be prizes and skits and the best Simi will take home a special award and a book signed by Kenyon herself.

Video Game Karaoke

Are you ready for a night of Karaoke fun in the Augusta room at the Westin? Get ready to sing and dance the night away to your favorite tunes from video games! Panelists Bo Cheimis and Morgan Skye will be there to ensure the fun doesn’t stop.

‘80s Prom Dance Party: Rock Me Amadeus!

If you still have it, get ready to rock your ‘80s prom dress all over again – or ask your mom for hers! You can rock it with a pair of your favorite kicks so that you can dance to ‘80s hits all night long at the Sheraton’s Grand Ballroom. This will be a full prom-like experience, including prom pics for you to cherish the memories. It all goes down at the Sheraton’s Grand Ballroom.

Bunny Hutch Party and Costume Contest

This one is for the more mature audience – grown and sexy if you will. Come to the Hilton’s Grand Salon dressed as your unique version of a bunny or Hef. You’re encouraged to be creative and put a twist on it with your favorite fandom. Make sure you put your all into it because the best costume winners will be announced at the party!

Dragon Con’s Pin-ups by the Pool

Get ready for a pin-up competition and party all in one at the Sheraton’s pool and courtyard. You’ll be able to register for the competition 30 minutes before the party starts – keep an eye out, as judges will be mixing and mingling to see who will take home the title of the best pin-up attire. Make sure you get creative!

Can’t Stop the Signal Dance

It’s time for the 5th Annual Can’t Stop the Signal Dance at the Westin’s Peachtree Ballroom. You’ll get to party with a purpose as you celebrate Firefly and Serenity while benefiting Open Hand Atlanta. Mature audiences only for this shindig.

The Open Casket Party

Zombie Prom: Your Brain Will Go On

Decomposing has never been so… fun! You’ll spend hours dancing the night away at the Hilton Grand Salon, taking unique prom zombie pics, and possibly being crowned Zombie Prom King or Queen at midnight.
