The rapper 2 Chainz is expanding his business catalog with his latest partnership.

You may know 2 Chainz for his music, but his portfolio has expanded so much throughout the years. The “I’m Different” rapper was recently announced as Krystal food chain’s first-ever head of creative marketing. The collaboration allows 2 Chainz to develop brand strategies, such as redesigning the menu and changing the location of the fast food chain he frequented growing up on Atlanta’s southside.

This isn’t the Georgia Park native’s first taste of the restaurant business. 2 Chainz has had a restaurant of his own for the past six years with his business partner Mychel “Snoop” Dillard – Esco Restaurant and Tapas. While there may be three locations in metro Atlanta now, the Esco restaurant footprint is set to expand to Columbus, Ohio, Dallas and Memphis. “I came along not knowing much but knowing that I have a really powerful influence,” 2 Chainz said. “Over the years, I’ve learned about hospitality and what it takes to run a good business. That on my resume made it easier for me to take on the job with Krystal.”
