Africa Film Showcase to take over Auburn Avenue Research Library in Decatur

It’s time to grab your popcorn and your friends for RoadShow Africa’s inaugural Africa Film Showcase on Thursday, Oct. 20.

The one-night-only event and awards ceremony will feature film industry professionals, government organizations, foreign dignitaries and business owners, all sharing their love for international collaboration and good films. The showcase will have something for everyone—including panel discussions, sneak peaks of African films and a reception serving African-inspired drinks and hors d’oeuvres, attended by African filmmakers, government leaders, students and international dignitaries.

“Attendees will not be disappointed as we have two star-studded panels and powerful presentations - not to mention the opportunity to network with filmmakers, distributors and producers that are slated to attend,” said CEO of RoadShow Africa, Jim Munson in a press release.
