Erica’s Table of 20 brings one-of-a-kind experience to Atlanta

Erica's Table of 20 Experience

It’s not your average luncheon or your typical group of people – it’s a unique experience created for women and men to connect, engage and impact.

Erica’s Table of 20 was created by Erica Dias several years ago, to honor a tradition she held close to her heart. “I got started with Erica’s Table of 20 as an inspiration from my grandmother who would have these amazing Sunday dinners,” Dias told Access Atlanta. “I decided that I wanted to put something together that was honest, transparent, where people can connect, engage, have good food, good drinks, laughter… and just gather to have a good time.”

Yet, this luncheon is not any regular event. Dias goes to different cities to host her Table of 20 experience, which only has 20 seats at the table. This is meant to keep it intimate and for people from all walks of life, to truly connect and share their stories. “You might be sitting next to the janitor, or you might be sitting next to the mayor. You might be sitting next to the CFO, or you might be sitting next to the person who works at Subway. We’re just all in here to gather, inspire and connect,” Dias said.

During the Atlanta Table of 20 experience, Dias also took time to honor a few people making a difference in the Atlanta community and giving them a chance to share their stories. First, we heard from Courtney English, Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Atlanta, along with his wife Kelly, who’s accomplished in her own right. Another honoree was Daylon Goff, who is the new President of Jet Magazine. Also filling the room were entrepreneurs, real estate agents, hair stylists, executives and several others from different walks of life, who all took the time to get to know each other, network and even share resources.

“My goal going forward is to continue to inspire, engage and connect with people all over the world,” Dias said about the future of Table of 20 – and that’s not all Dias has up her sleeve. “I plan to continue to write more books. I have a book called ‘Faith It Until You Make It,’ which is a book full of inspirational quotes, and [I plan] to continue to expand on Helen Florals, named after my grandmother.”
