You’ve probably seen his hilarious videos on social media, and now you’ll get to see Trey Kennedy up close and personal on July 1 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre!

Access Atlanta got a chance to catch up with the comedian and viral sensation about his rise to fame and his upcoming tour stop in Atlanta.

“Now if you’re a kid in college with a bunch of followers, you’re cool; that’s what every kid wants, but 10 years ago, everyone was looking at me like, ‘What is this guy doing?’”

“I left college and was figuring out life, but I kept making videos on social media, and it all of a sudden became a career, and that thrust into, let me try doing this live and in front of people,” Kennedy said.

It looks like things worked out, as Kennedy is currently touring for his “Grow Up” comedy tour, which makes its way to Atlanta in less than two weeks. This isn’t the comedian’s first tour, but this time around, we’re getting to see a more vulnerable side of him.

“I feel like this ‘Grow Up’ tour is where you’re going to get to know me a bit more … I talk a lot more about how I grew up and the experience of now becoming a dad and teaching my son how to grow up,” Kennedy explained.

You can grab your tickets for Kennedy’s show at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre now!
