It’s going to be a fun filled night of entertainment for a good cause!

The Beloved Benefit is officially back and it’s coming to Mercedes-Benz Stadium July 7. Usher and Maroon 5 were announced as headliners for this year’s event, while NBC sports host and correspondent, Maria Taylor will be serving as the emcee. This year’s benefit will also take time to honor the legacy of Congressman John Lewis.

The Beloved Benefit’s goal is to “raise awareness, funds and encourage action around key issues facing our city. The Beloved Benefit seeks to work alongside our local partners, leaders and residents to create healthier, more equitable and vibrant communities. The evening features top-notch talent, stories and speakers that will leave people motivated to bring about the Beloved Community in Atlanta.” Beloved Benefit ultimately hopes to raise money for several organizations within the Atlanta community.

“We are thrilled that Maroon 5, Usher and Maria will join us for this iconic event in Atlanta, which brings together community members from all neighborhoods to help drive action and address the key issues facing our city,” said Rodney Bullard, Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility. “We are deeply appreciative of the generous support of our friends, community leaders, sponsors and corporate partners as we endeavor to create a brighter future for our local communities by fostering greater economic mobility among all Atlantans.”

Out of the funds raised this year, 100% will be distributed directly to this year’s nonprofit beneficiaries, including Atlanta CareerRise, Center for Employment Opportunities, The Goodr Foundation, Goodwill of North Georgia, Latin American Association, Quest Community Development Organization, The Village Market and Westside Future Fund.

The benefit was initially slated to take place in February, but due to covid concerns, the benefit had to be rescheduled. In addition to performances by Usher and Maroon 5, attendees will also get to hear inspiring community stories. Read all about the Beloved Benefit at belovedbenefit.org.
