Post Malone and Roddy Ricch are coming to Atlanta in October
Post Malone fans, get ready because Posty is making his way to State Farm Arena.
The Grammy award nominated artist announced his Twelve Carat tour – a 33 city tour with special guest Roddy Ricch on certain dates. The Live Nation produced tour starts on Sept. 10 at CHI Health Center in Omaha, NE and continues to the cities of New York, Dallas and our very own, Atlanta, before wrapping up with his final show in Los Angeles, CA at Crypto.com Arena Nov. 15.
This tour comes right off the heels of his 16-song, fourth, highly anticipated album, “Twelve Carat Toothache.” The album stars some music heavyweights, including Doja Cat, Kid LAROI, Gunna and even his tour mate Roddy Ricch. Malone and Rich even have a pretty big hit together that they’re sure to perform, “Cooped Up.”
Concert-goers might also be in store for a country surprise from Malone. What do I mean by that? Malone recently made headlines when he performed “Better Man” by the rock band Pearl Jam on “The Howard Stern Show.” Could a country collection be on the horizon for Malone? He told Stern he’s pondering the idea of trying his hand in country music. ”To be honest, there’s nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album [to put] on YouTube,” Malone said. “I’m allowed to do that. I’m a human being.”
Malone went on to say that the timing has to be perfect when he does the crossover into country music. That wasn’t the only information Malone dropped on the show. Malone subtly revealed that back in May, he welcomed his first child with his fiancé. With so much on his plate, a country music project might be on the back burner for now but Malone did confirm with Stern that he will dabble in the country music scene once he has spare time.
