Celebrate Black Pride
Atlanta Black Pride Weekend is a celebration of Black culture, community and pride, held annually during Labor Day weekend. This year, various events, festivals and parties will take place from Wednesday, Aug. 31, through Monday, Sept. 5.

If you love old trucks, this is an event you won’t want to miss. C10s in the City is a classic Chevy truck show held in Summerhill C Lot, formerly Turner Field’s Orange Lot. The show is open to all full-size Chevy trucks built in 1998 or earlier, and admission for both show trucks and spectators is free. Bring your appetite! Georgia Avenue is only two blocks away and is home to many restaurants and a brewery.

WRFG Labor Day Blues Barbecue
Come to Park Tavern on Labor Day and help support the community radio station WRFG 89.3 FM.
The station has been Atlanta’s own community radio station since the 1970s, and on Monday, some of the best Blues bands in the city will be at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park to serve as a fundraiser for the station. Barbecue from Williamson Brothers is available for purchase and Park Tavern will have plenty of drinks to quench your thirst.
