7 of the coolest frozen cocktails you can find in Atlanta
Need a reprieve from the sweltering Atlanta heat and humidity? Don’t sweat it! We’ve got you covered with seven signature boozy slushies that bring new meaning to the word “cool.” Grab your friends and head over to these bars and restaurants around Atlanta that offer signature cocktails bursting with summer flavor.
“You’re So Basic” at Little Spirit
Move over, #PSL. This frozen cocktail made of vodka, rose, aperitif, strawberry and basil is totes the vibe and will have you going from basic to #BAE-sic. No shame.

The “Slush-Tail” at King of Pops
What’s cooler than a cocktail? A frozen cocktail. What’s cooler than a frozen cocktail? A frozen cocktail with a popsicle in it. (I mean, literally). Flavors rotate, but options have included a passionfruit margarita with tequila, passionfruit and lime. While the Slush-Tail doesn’t automatically come with a popsicle in it, you can add one in if you’re feeling extra.

“Dreamsicle” at Whiskey Bird
This frozen delight made of orange, vodka and coconut cream is, well, a dream. Actually, it’s a reality. It’s on the menu now, but Whiskey Bird changes up their frozen cocktail flavors, so check before it rotates out (though we’re sure any frozen cocktail they offer would have our stamp of approval).

“Frozen Orange Drink” at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q Westside
Come for the barbecue, stay for the Frozen Orange Drink. This collaboration between Fox. Bros Bar-B-Q and Ticonderoga Club features a citrusy concoction of Angelus liqueur, Cathead honeysuckle vodka, angostura bitters and Clement Creole Shrubb, mixed with citrus juices. Orange you glad we told you?

“Gin Blackberry Bramble” at Joystick Gamebar
Nostalgia, but make it drunk. Sip on the frozen Gin Blackberry Bramble, which consists of gin, cassis, house-made blackberry syrup and lemon, while playing Ms. Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat Frogger and other arcade games. There’s foosball, board games and pinball, too.

“Frozen Fitz Slushie” at Seven Lamps
A “cool” take on a Prohibition-era style drink, the Frozen Fitz Slushie takes Fitzgerald’s drink-of-choice (gin) and pairs it with lemon and angostura bitters, then serves it frozen.

“Blood of Christ” at Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium
It would be blasphemy if you didn’t try the Blood of Christ, a frozen cocktail featuring Sailor Jerry Rum, Cheerwine and cherry soda, at Sister Louisa’s Church (“it’s a bar!”). You will see Jesus. (Really. He is on all the artwork on the walls). This fun bar is a staple on Edgewood but come in with an open mind because the place is definitely a bit sacrilegious.
