If you’ve been looking for a new best friend, look no further than LifeLine Animal Project. For the month of June, the Atlanta animal shelter will waive all foster pet adoption fees.

LifeLine, which oversees DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services, recently asked residents to help with overcrowding in Atlanta area shelters by adopting pets living in foster homes.

“Adopters, assemble! This June, you can adopt a pet living in a foster home for free! LifeLine foster parents and adopters are real life superheroes that change the lives of pets across our city every day. In foster homes, pets once housed at our shelters are given the opportunity for their own super personalities to take flight and prepare to find homes with adopters like you!,” LifeLine wrote in a Facebook post. “And, when you adopt a pet from foster, you’re giving the next pet in need a chance to spend time with a foster.”

If you’re interested in becoming a pet parent or adding to your pack, visit LifeLine’s website to view available foster pets for adoption. Contact the foster parent directly with questions or to arrange a meet and greet. All adoptions include a pet’s spay or neuter, microchip, and vaccinations.

Adoption not in your cards? You can also help the shelter by volunteering, donating, shopping from their store, or hosting an event.
