How do we know the best of the best, you ask? Well, we rounded up a go-to guide for you when it comes to all things Atlanta. Your neighbors, friends and family voted in 250 categories and we tallied up votes to crown 250 winners and 500 finalists. You can check out the full list at bestof.accessatlanta.com. For now, though, let’s dive into a world of adventure for the family.

Outdoor activities

Why not enjoy something fun and active? A bike trail is the perfect way to catch that balance. Your neighbors rated the Silver Comet as the winner in our 2022 Best of Atlanta Awards as the Best Bike Trail. With other options like Shooting the Hooch and The Beltline, there is no shortage of sites to see and things to explore along the way.

If you’re looking to beat the heat, opt for one of the Best Splash Pads in town! Historic Fourth Ward Park Splash Pad, City Springs and Legacy Fountain at Piedmont Park are all the cooldown you need. Let your kids run wild through the water for the perfect summer day.

Let your mini-me’s burn off some more energy by hitting one of the Best Playgrounds in Atlanta! You can head to Westside Park, Historic Fourth Ward Park or Chastain Park Playground, which was actually voted the winner of the category.

Indoor activities

Time to head inside! Who doesn’t love a good game of bowling? Not only can you and the family rent out a lane for a good time but also enjoy a few snacks while you’re at it. Your neighbors voted The Painted Pin the Best Bowling Alley, along with Midtown Bowl and Comet Pub & Lanes as finalists.

Looking for a little variety? That’s exactly what our Best Indoor Play Space for Kids category is offering. You can head to Glow Galaxy or Leapin’ Lizards for some shaded summer fun. There’s also Legoland, which was not only voted the winner of the category but is also every kid’s dream.
