The Big Chicken
This local landmark may come as a surprise for tourists. Originally used as an advertisement for a restaurant called Johnny Reb’s Chick-Chuck-N’-Shake, the Big Chicken found a new owner at KFC. The Big Chicken can move its eyes and beak and acts like a North star for many residents.

Jackson Street Bridge
For beautiful skyline views, go to Jackson Street Bridge for the perfect Instagrammable photos. Jackson Street Bridge is also the iconic shot from the first season of ‘The Walking Dead.’ Take in sunset views and enjoy your night at one of the most scenic stops in Atlanta.

Atlanta Alpaca Treehouse
The Alpaca Treehouse is home to llamas and alpacas where guest can take a tour of the farm, pet alpacas and llamas, go into the bamboo forests and even take part in llama yoga. You can even stay in the treehouse for the night as the property is listed on Airbnb and was the set of many films and TV shows. The Delta Flight Museum
Find out the history of one of the nation’s largest airlines through the Delta Flight Museum. The museum displays over ten aircrafts — including the first ever 747-400 aircraft, a full-motion flight simulator, and exhibitions that cover Delta’s extensive aviation history.

CDC Museum
You may know that Atlanta is home to the nation’s public health agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But, did you know that Atlanta is home to the CDC Museum as well? Find out the history of the CDC and how the nation has combatted some of the largest health crises in the world.

Blind Willies
If you’re looking for a place to groove, Blind Willies hosts live blues music nearly every night. Paying homage to New Orleans, Blind Willies serves booze with a side of blues, and you can find traditional Cajun classics at the restaurant. The club offers an intimate setting where you feel like you’re in your own personalized concert.

Eddie’s Attic
Want to find music’s next rising star? Performers such as John Mayer and Justin Bieber performed at Eddie’s Attic before they became the superstars they are today. The venue asks guests to turn off their phones and simply listen and enjoy the music they’re witnessing. There are concerts almost every night and tickets can range from $10 to $59 depending on the show.

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center
Located in the heart of metro Atlanta, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is a community arts center that spans 12 acres. This historic site hosts art exhibitions, live concerts and Jazz on the Lawn event where people can have a picnic and enjoy live jazz music from distinguished Atlanta artists.
