Hands On Atlanta Week is a chance to unite the community and make a difference

Volunteering is always good for the soul, and there are plenty of opportunities to get out into the community and make a difference during Hands On Atlanta Week, which runs from September 20 to September 27.

Hands On Atlanta Week is a week-long volunteer celebration dedicated to making Atlanta a more engaged and equitable community, bringing together volunteers and nonprofits. The 2022 edition, presented by The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, looks to engage 10,000 people with over 200 unique and meaningful volunteer projects and events. The eight days of service will coincide with Arthur Blank’s 80th birthday, emphasizing his commitment to a more equitable and engaged Atlanta.

Wednesday, Sept. 21: Fight Food Insecurity and Hunger.

Thursday, Sept. 22: Protect ATL’s Environment.

Friday, Sept. 23: Increase Educational Equity.

Saturday, Sept. 24: Increase Educational Equity.

Sunday, Sept. 25: Make it a Day for Mental Health.

Monday, Sept. 26: Fight Food Insecurity and Hunger.

Tuesday, Sept. 27: Celebrate 8 Days of Service.
