Atlanta and its surrounding communities are bringing the thrills and scares this Halloween. Whether you’re looking to stay ITP, or you’re willing to drive a little, there’s no shortage of haunted house experiences available for those brave enough to venture forth. So round up your friends and family and prepare for the spookiest spooky season yet!

Netherworld Haunted House

This experience is actually made up of two haunted houses: The Winters Estate, based on a tale about the Winters’ family estate, and Maze of Madness where madmen and monsters make for a thrillingly unique experience nightly. After you haunted house tour, find games, sideshows, shops and photo ops on the Midway of Mayhem.

Haunted Depot

It’s worth the trip north to Ringgold see this historic train depot transformed into a frightful attraction for three weekends in October. Make your way through this landmark-turned-thrill-factory and encounter scares for all ages. Afterward, take in the ghost tour and hayride.

Terror Mills Haunted House

Restless spirits haunt the eerie corridors of an abandoned school-themed haunted house. You’ll find lots of thrills and scary surprises as you navigate the twists and turns of this spooky “educational” setting.

Four Scythes Haunted Attraction

As the dead rise, it’s visitors’ responsibility to find them before terror is unleashed. This nonprofit haunted house is located in the heart of Cumming and has helped with lots of local charitable endeavors. Afterward, during the last two weekends of October, visit the Clown Maze and dodge chaos and clowns.

The Undergrounded Thriller Escape

Escape the groundskeeper and collect eight skulls to make your way off this haunted island, dodging zombies along the way. This outdoor thriller escape experience is designed to challenge you and scare you at the same time. Participants must be at least 10 years old, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Captivating special effects and explosions alongside live-action characters mark this end-of-days presentation based on biblical prophecy. Book a time slot to travel an outdoor path along nine encounters based on the book of Revelation, and prepare for scary thrills along the way!

Atlanta Ghost Tours

This ghost tour of the Midtown district will put you in the know about hauntings spanning many years in this area. Hear all about unexplained horrors at the scenes of from knowledgeable guides past happenings as you walk the streets of Atlanta.
