Nothing’s more festive than fireworks—and that’s especially true on one of the longest nights of the year. Georgians have several options for ringing in the new year with a spectacular fireworks display this New Year’s Eve. Here are some from across the metro and North Georgia areas.

New Year’s fireworks at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds

See fireworks light up the night in the Georgia Mountains as you welcome 2025! Start the evening off with great food with food trucks opening at 6 p.m.

New Year’s Eve Bash at The Battery Atlanta

The Battery Atlanta will offer up two chances to celebrate New Year’s Eve this year. From 6 to 8 p.m., there will be “early innings,” with family oriented fun, music from Justin Roberts, and an early countdown with an inflatable baseball drop at 8 p.m. The “late innings” festivities kick off at 9 p.m. with a performance from A-Town A-List. Pyrotechnics, fireworks and confetti to mark the midnight countdown.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at Margaritaville Lanier Islands

Welcome the new year at LandShark Landing with music and dancing. Ring in midnight with a fireworks show and a complimentary glass of champagne. The Landshark Bar & Grill will offer food and drink specials, and attendees can enjoy Snow Island until 11:30 p.m. and the Lakeside Lights Spectacular until 12:30 a.m.

Kids’ early New Year’s Eve celebration at Stone Mountain

Early revelers will get a chance to celebrate at Stone Mountain after an evening of music, lights, shows and characters. An early New Year’s countdown begins at 9 p.m. with snowfall and fireworks. Get there early and enjoy the park attractions!

Peach Drop

It’s back! Atlanta’s Peach drop will once again take place at Underground Atlanta. Big Boi will headline, and other live performers will include Neon Trees and RES. The iconic peach will drop at midnight with fireworks as a backdrop. Join tens of thousands of Atlantans as they ring in New Year’s Eve in the heart of the city!
