Here’s where to celebrate National Tequila Day in Atlanta

TEQUILA! Just when you thought your liver had finally recovered from Cinco de Mayo and National Margarita day, along comes National Tequila day.

This Sunday, July 24 is National Tequila Day, and many restaurants and bars around Atlanta are offering deals, promotions and special drinks to get you in the door.

This drink is made with Patron tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, cucumber water and cayenne pepper. It’s available at their locations in Midtown and Buckhead.

Nuevo Laredo Cantina

Celebrate National Tequila Day at Nuevo Laredo on Chattahoochee Avenue with home-cooked Mexican food and a large Cadillac Margarita. The line can get long but don’t worry, you can always order a margarita while you wait!

Slabtown Public House

What better way to spend National Tequila Day than at Slabtown Public House?

This casual restaurant with a year-round rooftop and beer garden will be serving up special tequila-centered drinks all day, including a frozen avocado margarita, Ranch Water and a Cardamom Paloma.

Superica

Superica is celebrating National Tequila Day with their take on the “Mexican Martini,” the Superita!

Slide over to The Original El Taco in Virginia-Highland starting at noon for signature cocktails like the Angry Pineapple, made with Herradura tequila, habanero, pineapple and Jarritos.

Over on the Westside, the Woodall is serving up The Boardroom Rita, made from Tres Agaves tequila with Fresno peppers, clementine orange, Benedictine, maraschino, agave and lime.
