It’s a global celebration that’s bringing its creative appeal to Atlanta.

“HOMECOMING” is described as a movement. “From explosive live performances by the world’s most exciting African and International stars to a streetwear pop-up where local and global designers release world-exclusive product collaborations, ‘HOMECOMING’ presents the best of contemporary culture through the lens of Africa’s trend-setting creative generation.” The exciting news is that the movement is headed to Atlanta with all of its global goodness. “HOMECOMING” has teamed up with Jameson Whiskey along with Amsterdam streetwear and sneaker boutique, Patta, to create #ALLCONNECT. The new name represents the partnership, while still embodying all the elements “HOMECOMING” is rooted in – to bring a mixture of artists from all over Africa highlighting artists’ creativity with live performances and panels.

“All eyes are on Africa and it’s a very exciting time,” said “HOMECOMING” founder Grace Ladoja. “‘HOMECOMING’ has been building a global community over the past five years and organically amplifying African creatives. With #ALLCONNECT, we are excited to connect people in real life, taking them out of Africa for the first time to the U.K. and U.S.A. and bringing people to Lagos for their first ‘HOMECOMING’ experience, offering a unique opportunity for genuine connection. We’ve worked with Jameson since 2017, so we’re excited to bring this project to life. Patta is our family; they’ve supported us since the first ‘HOMECOMING’ Lagos, so we’re excited to collaborate to make some exclusive products. Together, we’re continuing to widen the circle.”

The new partnership will be hitting three cities – London is up first on Aug. 29, Atlanta on Sept. 3 and things will wrap up in Lagos on Sept. 11. The Atlanta lineup includes Love Renaissance (LVRN), DJ Spinall, Korin, Teezee, DJ Obi, Sean Famoso and Patta Soundsystem. For London, they’ve got Teezee, DJ Obi, Patta Soundsystem, Ki Pharoah, Larizzle, Ab Dollars and hosts Julie Adenuga and Izzy Bossy on deck. Last, but not least, heading to Lagos are Teezee, DJ Obi, Poco Lee and Patta Soundsystem.

The showcase in Atlanta is set to take place Saturday, Sept. 3 at The Wxllxm Culture Center. Be the first to know when you can grab tickets by joining the waitlist at ourhomecoming.com.
