It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year, and Ponce City Market (PCM) will give you everything you need to make it extra special!
With visits from Santa, festive pop-ups and ice skating, fireside treats and more, these holiday happenings will surely bring that extra joy we could all use. Check out the lineup below!
Saturdays with Santa
Don’t miss your chance to take a picture with Santa! The jolly man will be at The Yard at Ponce City Market on Saturdays, Dec. 2-16, from noon to 3 p.m. And then, from 3-4 p.m., join Old Saint Nick for a few festive drinks at Bar Vegan (Dec. 2), Atrium (Dec. 9), and Excuse My French inside Citizen Supply (Dec. 16).
Events and Pop-Ups
The Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar: Head to Biltong Bar inside PCM for its festive holiday pop-up bar featuring festive cocktails, cozy decor and holiday tunes. Walk-ins only. Nov. 16 through Dec. 31.
Holiday Social Bar on The Roof: The Roof is lit this holiday season with whimsical, floor-to-ceiling decor and holiday-inspired cocktails from an award-winning beverage team. Nov. 17 through Dec. 31.
MixMas at 12 Cocktail Bar: MixMas at 12 offers a festive and swanky environment to get you in the holiday spirit(s). Nov. 17 through Dec. 31.
The Village Retail Holiday Markets: On select dates, The Village Retail will host makers markets featuring products made by Black creators, located along the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail at The Shed and in the Trestle at Ponce City Market. Attendees can shop for clothing, unique finds, beauty, and more. Nov. 25-26 and Sun., Dec. 3, 10 & 17 from noon to 5 p.m.
Skate the Sky
Are you ready for an ice-skating adventure? The Roof at Ponce City Market is bringing the best winter activity to Atlanta. Starting Nov. 24 and running through Jan. 7, 2024, all-access tickets will be $30 for adults and $22 for children, including 50 minutes of ice skating, ice skate rentals, unlimited gameplay, and admission to The Roof.
Igloos on The Roof
Snuggle up this holiday season — in a private igloo, no less!
Rink-side igloos cater to all ages and 21+ parties at selected times. Premium igloos open on weekdays from 3 p.m., offering a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine or hot chocolate. Included with Skate the Sky igloos: general admission to The Roof, skate rentals, 50 minutes of skating, and unlimited games at Skyline Park.
Fireside Roasting and Toasting Pods on The Yard
Ponce City Market brings the joy of the holidays to The Yard with warm fires, marshmallows, and lawn games for a cozy experience. Tickets will be available HERE soon. Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays Nov. 24-Dec. 22, Noon to 4 p.m.
Misfit DIY Wrapping Co. and Misfit Makers Workshops:
Kick off the holiday festivities with Misfit DIY Wrapping Co. on Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 2-17 and Thursday through Saturday from Dec. 21-23. Dive into the world of misfit assortment with paper, ribbons, and doo-dads to wrap your gifts in a uniquely personalized way. Donations benefit RoleCall Theater, an independent theater at Ponce City Market.
Archer Paper Goods takes it further with Misfit Makers Workshops on Mondays, featuring themes like envelope decorating, vintage postcard printing, and Cross-Stitched Christmas.
Scraplanta joins the fun on Tuesdays, Dec. 5, 12, and 19, hosting free art workshops for all ages, making the holiday season an artistic adventure.
Tradition Thursdays – Lighting Ceremonies
Experience the warmth of Little Candles Day on Dec. 7 with candle-making workshops throughout the day and then a lantern lighting ceremony on The Yard at 6 p.m.
On Dec. 14, join the Festival of Lights Menorah Lighting Ceremony on The Yard with live entertainment and refreshments.
Celebrate the Winter Solstice on Dec. 21 with dance performances and solstice activities on the second floor of the Central Food Hall.
On Dec. 28 at 6 p.m., join the Kwanzaa Celebration hosted by The Village Retail. Stay tuned for details about this festive Kwanzaa celebration.
