Stomp grapes and drink wine at Yonah Mountain Vineyards’ Crush Fest
If you love wine and live music, you’ll be thrilled to find that Crush Fest is back at Cleveland’s Yonah Mountain Vineyards after a two-year hiatus!
The vineyard is celebrating the 11th anniversary of its annual wine festival, a highlight of the harvest season, on Saturday, Aug. 27, from noon to 6 p.m. It’s a day filled with live music, food trucks, award-winning wines, an artisan market, and as you might have guessed, a traditional barefoot grape stomping.

“Yonah Mountain Vineyards is a beautiful 90-minute drive from Atlanta and the payoff is worth the drive — award-winning wines, live music, and a breathtaking setting all year round,” said Bob Miller, owner of Yonah Mountain Vineyards. “We are so happy to be back with Crush Fest after a two-year hiatus. It is a true celebration with a festival atmosphere and lots to do, see and taste, including a traditional barefoot grape stomping! We invite everyone to come up and celebrate the Harvest with us and see first-hand that Georgia wineries are producing excellent wines on par with Napa Valley.”
Crush Fest, held at Yonah Mountain Vineyards since 2010, has become a summer tradition and is regarded as one of the best wine festivals in the Southeast, according to the winery’s website.
