Wine Shoe helps women, minority vintners put their best foot forward
We all enjoy a good glass of wine, but appreciating the craft involves more than just picking a bottle from your fridge and hoping for the best.
When Access Atlanta attended a wine tasting event at Wine Shoe in Castleberry Hill (just two blocks from Mercedes-Benz Stadium) we learned quite a few things, including the five S’s of wine tasting: see, swirl, sniff, sip and savor.
Krishna Chapatwala’s intimate shop is a place where you can learn about wine and enjoy the company of your friends and family in a casual atmosphere. They offer a wine club and regular tasting events for small and large groups so that you can learn more about those classy reds, whites and bubbles no matter the occasion or size!

“In a private tasting, often a birthday party or a girl’s night out, we do the wine tasting for four or five wines. You tailor the line-up of all reds, all whites or mix and match. And for our public tastings we’ll offer food and wine pairings, and even pop-in tastings,” Chapatwala said.
