Josh Tillman, a.k.a. Father John Misty, is coming to Atlanta on Friday, Oct. 7! He’s known for his distinctive voice, as well as his ability to create songs that are both deeply personal and widely relatable. And now he’s bringing all of that goodness to the stage at The Eastern.

The pop-folk artist will perform songs from his latest album, “Chloë and the Next 20th Century,” at The Eastern on Friday, Oct. 7; of course, Access Atlanta is hooking you up with tickets to see the live performance — we’re giving away five pairs of tickets.

Tillman has been a heartthrob in the indie music scene since 2012 when he released his first album under the moniker, Father John Misty. Since then, he’s released four more albums and become a household name. His fifth and latest album, “Chloë and the Next 20th Century,” was released in April and is unlike anything he’s released before: Paste magazine describes it as “likely the best full album of his now-10-year career. It’s the biggest risk he’s taken since donning the Father John Misty character and leaving one of the biggest bands in late 2000s/early 2010s indie rock.”

Concert goers can expect the 41-year-old to recreate some of the gorgeous swells that fill out sweeping tracks like “Q4″ with live strings and lush arrangments provided by a full symphony orchestra.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and Suki Waterhouse will open at 8 p.m. in support of her debut album, “I Can’t Let Go.”
